Job Title: Associate Program Manager - Construction

STV is seeking an Associate Program Manager - Construction for our PM/CM group in NYC.

The Associate Program Manager will oversee and manage multiple construction projects within our organization. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in engineering, architecture, or construction management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception to completion, while maintaining compliance with all contract specifications, drawings, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of construction work across multiple contracts, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.
  • Provide technical expertise in design and construction-related activities, including new construction, rehabilitation, and modernization projects.
  • Review and interpret contract documents, including specifications and drawings, ensuring compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise project documentation, including reports, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges, implementing effective problem-solving strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and best construction practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of full-time experience as a technical specialist in construction and design-related fields.
  • At least four (4) years of experience managing all phases of construction work across multiple contracts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying contract documents, including plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Proven ability to lead projects involving new construction, rehabilitation, and modernization efforts.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Construction Management (CCM) is a plus.
  • Experience working in healthcare construction or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Additional Information:

Compensation Range: $91,314.21 - $121,752.28
