Job summary

Esri is seeking an Associate Product Marketing Manager to help expand the world''s leading mapping and analytics software into new and existing markets. You will understand user needs to craft personas, positioning, and messaging, and coordinate product releases with internal communications across channels.

You''ll partner with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and adoption among GIS and data analytics audiences globally, create engaging content, and develop KPIs to measure performance.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years in product, industry, or corporate marketing; communications; business development; consulting; or similar field
  • Strong verbal and written communications; ability to convey technical info non-technically
  • Thrive in a cross-functional team
  • Experience with marketing technology and common marketing concepts
  • Strong project management and problem-solving; capable of leading programs
  • Good judgment within defined procedures
  • Self-starter and detail-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with leadership guidance
  • Willingness to travel 10–20% for meetings/events
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing
  • Visa sponsorship not available; authorized to work in U.S
  • Master’s degree in business/marketing
  • Interest in spatial analysis, data science, data analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, Python, GIS
  • Prior experience marketing software

  • Create engaging content, including web pages, videos, case studies, press releases, and product resources
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure product performance in market
  • Work with product management, product engineering, and global business development throughout the product life cycle
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in product, industry, or corporate marketing; communications; business development; consulting; or similar field
  • Proven verbal and written communications skills; ability to understand and convey technical information in a non-technical manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience with marketing technology and common marketing concepts
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills with previous experience leading programs or highly visible projects
  • Ability to exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented and task-oriented
  • Able to successfully manage multiple priorities with guidance from leadership
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time for strategic meetings, events and/or tradeshows
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
