Job summary

ARC’TERYX is seeking an Associate Platform Engineer to impact platform systems and business outcomes. You will build defined capabilities, investigate and fix bugs, write tests, and participate in code reviews with a collaborative team.

Based in North Vancouver with hybrid remote options, you’ll pair with seniors, contribute to documentation, and participate in sprint ceremonies to deliver reliable software that supports our apps, e-commerce, and retail systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with the Microsoft stack including .NET and C#.
• Experience leveraging AI tooling to deliver technical solutions.
• Solid understanding of core programming fundamentals.
• Commitment to testing, code quality, and continuous learning.
• Experience with source control and Agile planning practices.

Responsibilities

• Building defined platform capabilities, investigating and fixing bugs, and writing tests.
• Monitoring application logs and signals to ensure healthy systems.
• Identifying blocking issues and participating in an on-call rotation.
• Pair programming with senior team members and contributing to code reviews.
• Communicating progress with your team and manager.
• Contributing to technical documentation and team ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Becoming autonomous in completing tasks end to end while embodying Arc’teryx values.
