The Role

As an Associate, Performance, you will support investment performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting activities across CPP Investments. • Develop automated testing and control checks to improve the accuracy and completeness of performance, benchmark, and attribution calculations.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for system upgrades and process changes impacting performance reporting.
• Support the development of new performance metrics and analytical capabilities to meet evolving stakeholder and committee reporting needs.
• Deliver scheduled and ad hoc performance reporting with a high degree of quality, accuracy, and actionable insights.
• Provide subject matter expertise on cross-functional initiatives while building effective relationships across CPP Investments and communicating performance results to stakeholders.

What You Bring

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant Performance experience.
• Relevant professional designation, or progress toward obtaining one. E.g. CFA.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies.

• Strong understanding of Performance measurement and attribution methodologies.
