IBM is seeking an Associate Package Specialist at the Calgary Client Innovation Center. The role involves implementing Oracle Cloud Financials applications, analyzing business needs, and supporting clients to achieve their goals in a dynamic environment. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Associate Package Specialist, you will be able to:
Support the implementation and configuration of Oracle Cloud Financials applications.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional configuration specifications.
Participate in the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Cloud SCM, AP, AR, GL, and EPM solutions.
Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and configuration based on IBM and industry leading practices.
Collaborate with clients to gather and document system requirements.
Support data migration from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.
Participate in user training and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
Stay current with Oracle’s product updates and enhancements.
Required technical and professional expertise
Required Qualifications:
Eligibility to work in Canada without future visa sponsorship (valid work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship).
Willingness to live and work in Calgary, AB.
Preferred Education:
Core Competencies:
Strong understanding of core finance functions, including, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA)
Familiarity with Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
Exposure to Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools or reporting frameworks is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Exposure to ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, is preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Effective communication and teamwork
Curiosity and eagerness to learn emerging tools/tech
Preferred technical and professional experience
Education or experience in Financial domains.
