A leading pharmaceutical company in Canada seeks an Associate Medical Director focused on cardio-renal-metabolic diseases. If so, an exciting opportunity has become available for an Associate Medical Director (or Medical Advisor) to join our Medical Affairs Department as CVD portfolio lead in the Cardio-renal and Alzheimer’s Diseases unit.
The Position
As an Associate Medical Director (or Medical Advisor) in the Cardio-renal and Alzheimer’s Diseases unit, you will take on a pivotal role driving strategic discussions for our CVD portfolio. You will drive a variety of projects related to evidence generation, scientific dialogue, publications, clinical care pathways among others. You will effectively collaborate and communicate with doctors that are Key Opinion Leaders, and provide timely, accurate and credible scientific and medical guidance to internal stakeholders from marketing, patient access, field and other functional areas. You will have an opportunity to represent the Director in high-level local and global committees.

The job requires occasional work outside of normal business hours including weekends, and frequent travel within Canada, US and overseas.
