The Work

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Personal Banking Growth, the Associate Manager, Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for supporting key engagement initiatives and managing the end-to-end implementation and evaluation of product marketing campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys for EQ Bank. This role involves executing customer-facing communications to drive engagement KPIs – including onboarding, activation, deposit growth, product adoption, and banking behaviors while leveraging creative resources, analytics, and CX insights.

The Core Responsibilities

  1. Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives supporting onboarding, funding, product adoption, and deposit growth.
  2. Build and optimize automated customer journeys across lifecycle stages, including message development, testing, and reporting.
  3. Manage the creative development process, including writing creative briefs and ensuring flawless execution of campaigns. Collaborate with internal agencies, product partners, and legal/compliance teams to deliver impactful programs.
  4. Use data-driven analysis and customer insights to test messaging and channels for continuous improvement.
  5. Advocate for the customer within the marketing team, ensuring high-quality interactions across all lifecycle stages and channels.
  6. Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Contact Centre, and Operations to ensure alignment on communication timing and content.
  7. Collaborate with Customer Care, CX, and Product teams to identify and resolve customer pain points and ensure an omni-channel experience.

Let's Talk About You

  1. 3–5 years of experience in lifecycle or email marketing, familiarity with CRM software (e.g., MS Dynamics or Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and knowledge of CASL regulations.
  2. Strong understanding of customer communication principles, including clarity, tone, and relevance across journeys and campaigns.
  3. Experience developing clear creative briefs and providing actionable feedback for effective marketing communications.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights through campaigns and A/B testing.
  5. Passion for customer insights and communications to achieve business objectives.
  6. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed.
  7. Self-starter capable of managing projects independently and building relationships internally and externally.
  8. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  9. Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments with a track record of delivering results.
  10. Post-secondary education in Marketing, Commerce, or related fields.
  11. Financial Services experience is an asset.
