Associate Manager, IT - Transportation at a glance...

You will be responsible for IT activities related to Transportation processes, including deployment optimization, transportation planning, carrier integration, and execution. Your focus will be on delivering the core solution in SAP ECC/S4 HANA and its integration with transportation applications. You will own the configuration of the global core solution in ECC/S4 HANA and associated tools for order management, deployment optimization, direct procurement, and intercompany transfers related to transportation systems.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture business requirements, translating them into effective systems design and implementation.
• Provide leadership for external contractors overseeing systems project management, implementation, and integration.
• Communicate comprehensively on all aspects related to systems and projects to senior leadership.
• Lead joint project teams in shaping solutions for system enhancements.
• Provide expertise in sales order processing, pricing, billing, and delivery within the SAP SD module.
• Configure and customize SAP SD modules to align with business processes and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, to address technical requirements and integrations, ensuring data consistency across transportation systems.
• Handle system testing, identify, and resolve defects to ensure smooth project implementations.
• Act as the primary contact for project issue identification and resolution.
• Coordinate on-site hyper care and issue resolution to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state operations.
• Maintain the project plan using the appropriate tools.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience implementing large-scale integration and transformation programs in OTC/STP and ERP systems, with ability to bridge business and technical capabilities.
• Experience in project scoping, management, requirements analysis, solution and process design, testing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of SAP SD configuration, customization, and integration, especially with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Proficiency in sales and distribution business processes.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
• Ability to investigate end-to-end IDoc processing and collaborate with middleware teams.
• Willingness to travel (~20%) as required.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $84,000 - $105,000

Bonus: Performance-based bonus as per plan terms.
