Job description

Sully Chapman Beattie LLP is seeking a lawyer to join us as an associate with the potential of entering our Partnership.

We are a boutique law firm in Red Deer doing solicitor's work, including residential, commercial, and agricultural realty conveyancing, corporate law (incorporations, corporate reorganizations, estate freezes, shareholder agreements), commercial financing, wills and estate administration, and other matters not related to litigation.

An ideal candidate must be a member of the Law Society of Alberta and preferably have at least 3+ years of experience in some of the solicitor work described above. It would also be beneficial if the candidate had some of their own existing clientele and also the willingness to connect with the community and create new networks and contacts.

We are seeking a lawyer who will eventually join the firm as a partner. Our firm serves the legal needs of a large number of long-term clients from across central Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer to transition into equity ownership of a client-driven practice with a large clientele.

Salary and benefits would be negotiable and commensurate with the legal industry in Alberta.
