Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a Family Law Litigation Associate with 3+ years of Ontario family law experience to manage complex matters from research and drafting through negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances. This role requires sharp advocacy and strong client service.

You will advise clients on a broad range of family law issues, draft and draft motions, pleadings, and related documents, and appear at mediations and hearings, working both virtually and in-person as needed.

Qualifications

• LL.B. or JD and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• 3+ years of family law litigation experience.
• Strong litigation, drafting, negotiation, analytical, and business skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and work effectively under pressure.
• Comfortable with virtual and in-person hearings, negotiations, and meetings.
• Proficiency in DivorceMate, PCLaw, DocuSign, Adobe, Zoom, and Office 365.
• Strong organization, file management, and client service skills.
