Job summary

We currently have an opportunity available for an ambitious, dedicated, and personable lawyer to join our busy firm located in the thriving uptown business district of Toronto, conveniently located above the Yonge/Sheppard subway station. The successful candidate will be a licensed lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and possess one to three years of litigation experience as well as experience attending court, ideally with a focus on Creditors’ Rights law and enforcement of judgments. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with the recovery of outstanding debt on behalf of financial institutions. It will be advantageous if the candidate also has experience in mortgage enforcement matters. Additionally, French speaking skills will be considered an asset. New calls with good litigation experience are also encouraged to submit an application for consideration.

The selected applicant will be well organized and have superior oral and verbal communication skills. They will be responsible for contributing to the continued success of our well‑established practice and will also demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to advance the growth of the firm.
