Job summary

BLG in Toronto is seeking an Associate in Investment Management to join a leading private practice. You will work on regulatory and advisory matters relating to wealth and asset management, drafting and client counsel, with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years’ experience at a private law firm, strong drafting skills, and excellent written and oral communication. The role offers growth under industry leaders and the BLG brand behind you.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience at a private law firm (recently admitted counsel) or similar track record.
• Strong drafting skills for regulatory and legal issues in wealth and asset management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing ability.

We are looking for

• The ideal candidate will 2 – 5 years experience from a private law firm, solid drafting skills and experience advising clients on regulatory and legal issues relating to the wealth and asset management industry.
• Experience in private funds, retail funds, and/or CIRO work considered an asset.
• The candidate must be a team player with strong analytical, personal, oral and written communication skills.
