Job summary

Vancity, a member-owned credit union, seeks an Associate Investment Analyst to support day-to-day management of Canadian equity mandates within VCIM’s Responsible Investment approach. This full-time, permanent role is based at our Vancouver head office, with a hybrid arrangement requiring on-site presence 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in public equities, investment banking, private equity, or related role.
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with financial modeling and understanding of accounting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research and provide investment recommendations to optimize portfolio performance and manage risk.
• Monitor VCIM mandates in line with policy guidelines and strategy objectives.
• Discuss potential and current equity investments with the Equities team.
• Develop tools to assist the Equities team in portfolio construction and research.
