Our Distribution team aims to be the leader in client engagement among Canadian Insurers, providing seamless and personalized client experiences. Our knowledgeable team is dedicated to delivering financial solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

The Associate Insurance Advisor II plays a key role in supporting and developing the agency operation through sales and service. This role requires broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products, including personal lines (auto, home), specialty lines (farm and commercial), and potentially life and wealth products if licensed.

How you will create impact:
  • Drive sales, service, and profitable growth across personal and specialty lines products.
  • Advise clients and recommend coverages and policies that meet their needs.
  • Proactively prospect for all lines of business and suggest additional products/services beneficial to clients.
  • Perform risk assessments and selection following underwriting guidelines.
  • Conduct inspections and re-inspections as needed.
  • Meet individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to overall agency growth.
  • Address client questions and concerns, resolve complaints, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Proactively review client portfolios across auto, home, farm, and commercial lines.

To join our team:
  • Possess a General Insurance license.
  • Having a Life license is an asset.
  • Meet provincial licensing requirements and maintain licenses through continuing education.
  • Preferably have at least 2 years of insurance industry experience, including sales.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of auto and property insurance products and strong underwriting skills.
What you need to know:
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check.
