Associate Insurance Advisor II - Commercial & Farm Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service and sales, focusing on customer solutions. This role is essential for driving business development and account management efforts, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and support.

The Specialist will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that enhance their experience.

As the Commercial and Farm Specialist, you will be responsible for new client growth and expanding the commercial and farm portfolio through outbound prospecting, client contact, and sales activities. You will identify prospects in business markets, service clients, assess risks, and present customized insurance solutions.

How you will create impact:

  1. Conduct inbound and outbound calls to prospect and proactively build a sales pipeline, develop marketing plans to promote insurance offerings, and contribute to sales, profitability, and growth goals.
  2. Complete risk assessments and conduct commercial and farm inspections following underwriting guidelines.
  3. Work with clients to review goals, provide risk management advice, recommend coverage options, update policies, and document changes.
  4. Review policies to identify changing coverage needs, respond to inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues as necessary.
  5. Participate in events to increase brand awareness and develop community contacts to maximize new business opportunities.

To join our team:

  • Some experience in commercial and farm insurance sales and service or related business experience is preferred.
  • You hold a General insurance license (OTL) or will obtain it within 1 month.
  • LLQP Life License is an asset.

What you need to know:

  • You must have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance.
  • Regular travel is required.
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and service providers in their environment.
  • You will undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check if selected.
