You will be joining the Wholesale Platform Finance team, responsible for the global financial close process, project implementation, and establishing the overall control framework for Capital Markets.

This role involves being the key contact with internal/external stakeholders to lead project implementations, including strategy, planning, testing, and controls assessment for Capital Markets Finance.

What will you do?

  • Support the Director and Senior Director in setting strategic direction for large program initiatives impacting Global Capital Markets, including planning, testing, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, Law, and other stakeholders to support project execution and address risks.
  • Represent Financial Control in planning and discussions related to initiatives.

As the Quarterback for Finance, ensure transactions are accurately captured, orchestrate activities with partners, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to resolve implementation issues.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • CPA designation
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and internal controls over financial reporting
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Motivated, collaborative, self-starter attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Capital Markets businesses
  • Knowledge of RBC financial systems
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and EPM systems
