Critical Mass is seeking an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and scale recruitment across North America and EMEA, focusing on building world-class TA operations and regional hiring strategies.

You’ll optimize Workday Recruiting, partner with leaders to align hiring with business goals, and develop pipelines while coaching a team of 5 global TA specialists to high performance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in high-growth or digital agency environments.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling recruitment teams across geographies.
  • Deep understanding of NAM talent market, sourcing channels, and regulatory nuances (US & Canada).
  • Workday Recruiting expertise for process design and reporting.
  • Proven ability to design and improve recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop regional TA strategies and scalable workflows aligned with global goals.
  • Source and build candidate pipelines across North America and EMEA.
  • Own Workday Recruiting optimization, data integrity, and enablement documentation.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate hiring needs into talent-market insights.
  • Lead and develop a team of 5 Global TA Specialists with coaching and feedback.
  • Track KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire) and drive data-driven improvements.
  • Champion employer branding in the digital agency space.

Critical Mass is seeking a strategic Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to lead and scale our recruitment efforts across North America and EMEA, with primary focus on building world-class talent acquisition operations. This is a key role responsible for developing and executing regional hiring strategies, leading process optimization initiatives, fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving the success of a high-performing global recruitment team.

What You’ll Own
  • Develop Regional Strategy & Process Architecture – Create and execute global talent acquisition strategies aligned with global goals. Design scalable recruitment workflows that enable efficient team operations.
  • Build Strong Candidate Pipelines – Source talent proactively across North America. Develop deep market knowledge and establish repeatable sourcing frameworks that scale.
  • Workday Platform Leadership – Own Workday Recruiting optimization, data integrity, and team enablement documentation.
  • Partner Strategically – Collaborate with business leaders to understand hiring needs and provide talent market insights. Be the trusted advisor on recruitment best practices.
  • Lead & Develop Your Team – Coach and lead a team of 5 Global TA Specialists. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and career growth. Provide clear expectations and regular feedback.
  • Track & Optimize Performance – Monitor recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire). Use data-driven insights to improve effectiveness and inform strategy.
  • Champion Employer Branding – Build Critical Mass's reputation as an employer of choice in the digital agency space
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in high-growth or digital agency environments
  • 3+ years of experience leading and scaling recruitment teams across geographies
  • Deep understanding of the NAM talent market, including sourcing channels, employment regulations (US & Canada), and cultural nuances
  • Workday Recruiting expertise required process design, and reporting
  • Proven process design and operational improvement mindset
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Genuine passion for building teams, developing talent, and creating efficient processes

$135,000 - $150,000 CAD

Omnicoms policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicoms corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
