Job Description
Essential Functions:
  1. Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand contract needs; initiate, review, and negotiate contracts, liaising with legal. Monitor costs, schedules, and performance of major contracts.
  2. Facilitate fair and transparent bidding processes for projects.
  3. While not supervisory, this role may involve coaching/mentoring junior team members and delegating tasks.
  4. Manage planning, development, implementation, and administration of supply chain activities.
  5. Coordinate activities related to production planning, procurement, and material management, providing solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  6. Implement and maintain material control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure timely flow of materials.
  7. Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies as required.
  8. Review and approve changes to controlled documents.
  9. Analyze procurement metrics, identify trends, and improve processes. Manage supplier relationships to meet quality and delivery standards.
  10. Recommend organizational objectives and interpret company policies.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years relevant experience with a BS or BA
  • OR 8+ years relevant experience with an MA/MBA
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle
  • Effective communication skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration ability
  • Ability to develop complex concepts and solutions for complex problems
  • Experience in contract management
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Understanding of financial aspects of supply chain operations
