Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Education, Humanities, or a related field is required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience in admissions administration is preferred, especially in a boarding school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide prospective families from inquiry to enrolment through personal communication, tours, interviews, and compassionate decision delivery.
  • Process applications and collaborate with Admissions Committee on decisions; manage re-enrolments and handovers to department heads.
  • Represent Shawnigan North America at fairs and events (20–30% travel); lead information sessions and manage special initiatives like the Dream Scholarship.
