RBC is seeking a data governance specialist to support the Chief Data Office in maintaining enterprise data management procedures and guidance materials. The role focuses on advising first-line stakeholders and coordinating with data management offices to ensure regulatory compliance and effective controls.
You will develop training materials, respond to audits and examinations, and stay current with RBC information risk policies.
The Chief Data Office (CDO) is a first line function that provides execution support for critical data governance and data management activities. The CDO guides the evolution of RBC’s data strategy and influences strategic investments in data to support business strategy and regulatory compliance. The data governance team is responsible for leading the design of best practices to be adopted by the CDO as well as the first line data risk owners.
