The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) through TD Innovation Partners (TDIP) seeks an Associate Director, Relationship Management, Early‑Stage to manage a portfolio of founders and early‑stage companies, establishing trusted relationships and delivering deposit, treasury, operating and credit solutions to help them scale.

You will partner with venture capital firms, accelerators and ecosystem partners, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate transitions into TDIP Commercial Banking while

Qualifications

• Strong business development, networking, and relationship management capabilities.
• Knowledge of the Canadian venture capital ecosystem, accelerators, incubators, and government innovation programs.
• Undergraduate degree and 7+ years experience in relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of founders and early‑stage companies from ideation through commercialization.
• Develop trusted relationships with founders, CEOs, investors, accelerators, incubators, angel networks, and ecosystem partners.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for clients requiring specialized banking solutions in early stages.
• Identify and deliver tailored banking solutions addressing clients' operational, regulatory, funding, and growth objectives.
• Develop understanding of customer business models, capital structures, funding strategies, and growth plans.
• Partner with Capital Solutions teams to structure working capital facilities, operating lines, venture debt, and other financing opportunities.
