A leading financial services company in Canada seeks an Associate Director for its Alternative Investment Services group. The role emphasizes leadership in derivatives operations, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering internal collaboration. Candidates should possess a strong financial background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex operations in a fast-paced environment.
The incumbent is responsible for leading the AIS operation group and for coaching, mentoring, and leading a group of team managers. Responsible for ensuring RBCIS policies & procedures are strictly adhered to and ensuring all department processes & controls are followed. Foster a mindset of client-centric service, professionalism, and collaboration. Encourage and support the implementation of process enhancements, simplification, and automation. Provide oversight of the ongoing production of accurate net asset values (NAVs) for the group’s entire fund and pension range that holds derivatives. Provide oversight of all business processes, risks, audits, regulatory requirements, and key performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs).
