Job summary

Nipissing University invites internal applications for the position of Associate Dean, Schulich School of Education. The Associate Dean will provide strategic academic leadership for all programs in the Schulich School of Education and support the Dean in achieving academic goals.

The role includes shaping undergraduate and graduate education programming, developing partnerships, and advancing Truth and Reconciliation, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Qualifications

• PhD or terminal degree in education or related field.
• At least five years of progressively responsible management experience in a university environment.
• Administrative leadership and program development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic academic leadership for all programs in the Schulich School of Education.
• Support the Dean in the development and achievement of academic goals and objectives.
• Foster partnerships to meet the educational, research and innovation agenda for Nipissing University and the North Bay region.
