BFL CANADA seeks an Associate, Claims - Realty for its Vancouver or Langley office to support the Real Estate Claims team in delivering high-quality service to clients. The role requires organized, detail-oriented candidates with strong communication and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Sets up new claims by determining the policy in force and preparing Loss Notices.
• Tracks assignments of non-Program claims and completes courtesy calls on new claims.
• Reports new claims within one hour of receipt and updates all claim information in the system.
• Communicates with insureds, adjusters and examiners regarding status and reserves.
• Documents updates, reports and concerns in the claims system and prepares periodic reports.

BFL CANADA is looking for an Associate, Claims - Realty for its Vancouver or Langley office!

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Real Estate Claims team in providing the highest quality service to clients both internal and external.

Your day as an Associate, Claims - Realty

• Sets up new claims by determining the policy in force, preparing Loss Notices, setting-up claims with appropriate subscribers, assigning an adjuster and reporting new claims within one (1) hour of receipt.


• Tracks assignments of non-Program claims.


• Completes courtesy calls on new claims.


• Accurately tracks internal authority claims settled by BFL and reports monthly to management, Accounting and the insurer.


• Runs Loss History Reports for producers and marketing, as required.


• Corresponds/communicates with Insured regarding claims status.


• Corresponds/communicates with adjusters and examiners regarding status of claims and reserves, and assisting as required.


• Accurately updates and documents all pertinent claims information in LEO, noting and attaching all updates, reports, correspondence and concerns.


• Processes all opening and closing notices.


• Other duties as assigned.

The expected salary for this role ranges from $52,000 to $65,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate’s skills to the role.
