Job summary

Watson Board Advisors in Vancouver seeks an Associate to join our CEO & Board Search practice. The Associate is a core member of our search teams, helping clients make consequential decisions about leaders and Board members for the future.

Working closely with Partners and Analysts, the Associate contributes across the search process: developing a deep understanding of the client and its context, shaping search strategy, conducting candidate and market research, building and assessing candidate

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for executive-facing work.
• Experience in candidate research, assessment or senior-level recruitment is a plus.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and present clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple CEO and Board search engagements with Partners and Analysts.
• Develop and maintain project workplans, timelines and tools.
• Own and lead discrete workstreams within engagements with Partner oversight.
• Coordinate client and candidate touchpoints to ensure a professional experience.
• Maintain comprehensive candidate pipeline records and communications.
• Draft clear client communications and provide updates on progress and findings.
• Lead internal meetings and present search progress to clients.
• Develop proficiency in Watson’s search tools and platforms.
