The Opportunity

The Associate Analyst supports the Commercial Funding Department to meet department and division goals and targets.

How you will contribute:

1. Set up initial paper & paperless files for new funding transactions
2. Complete basic loan setup in Optimus, including peripheral security and client information
3. Deposit all commercial trust deposits and set up mortgage accounts in “Application” status in Optimus
4. Coordinate with accounting to ensure funds are received and posted correctly
5. Process refunds from suspense accounts related to cancellations or invoice payments
6. Track remittance and process invoice payments to third parties monthly
7. Handle deposits for Broker Deals, collect documentation, post on Optimus, and report to management
8. Create requisitions for fees and post-approval costs
9. Assist with Optimus data requests and input
10. Arrange execution of documents by signatories and distribute accordingly
11. Maintain departmental files and organize the filing room
12. Process progress draw requests
13. Complete special projects as assigned

The experience you need:

• Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2-3 years in administration, preferably in commercial mortgages
• Mortgage knowledge or experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with flexibility for additional duties
