Associate Account Executive- Forestry Practice

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.

The salary range for this position is CAD $71,32 to $96,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

What the day will look like

  • Under the direction of the Account Executive, servicing existing clients' portfolios within the risk management group.
  • Working on a wide variety of clients, identify specific client risk exposures, as may be required.
  • Managing the client renewal process by collaborating with all members of the client service team to ensure coverage is secured and client deliverables are met.
  • Receiving and processing client requests and reviewing documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, or cancellations.
  • Preparing client service summaries, program reports and managing client accounts receivables.
  • Assist with establishing account specific service plans and delivery approaches which support coverage solutions.
  • Respond to inquiries from client on policy coverages under the direction of the Account Executive as may be required.
  • Assist clients with interpretation of insurance clauses within contracts/agreements.
  • Explore with the client opportunities for expanded Aon products or services.
  • May be required to work with two or more Account Executives.
  • Assisting Account Executive in new business initiatives through tasks such as coordinating dissemination of marketing material, prompting regular contact with prospect, assisting in developing new business strategies and account penetration).
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Minimum three (3) years of commercial insurance experience is required
  • Level 1 licence is required; Level 2 license preferred or working towards
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Proven success working collaboratively within a successful team and also working independently with minimum supervision when appropriate;
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the proven ability to multi-task;
  • Proven track record of prioritizing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong digital literacy and proficiency with the Microsoft Office package
