Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities, downtown Vancouver, is seeking an Associate to provide concierge level administrative support to a successful Advisory Team. You will deliver quality client service and help deepen relationships through efficient support to clients and the Advisor Team.

You will handle incoming calls and emails, assist in preparing client reviews, and coordinate documentation to open accounts. A strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and professional communication is essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have CSC and CPH or CIRE certification.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent time management.
  • World-class client service delivered professionally, warmly and clearly.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional servicing of incoming calls and emails from clients, advisors and partners.
  • Support Investment Advisors with general administrative duties in client account management.
  • Assist in preparing client reviews and presentations.
  • Request information from clients to open accounts and maintain files.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Monitor pending transfers to ensure timely completion.

What is the opportunity?

The RBC Dominion Securities downtown Thurlow branch is looking for an Associate to provide concierge level administrative support to a successful Advisory Team.

You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team.

What will you do?
  • Responsible for the professional servicing of incoming telephone and email contacts from clients, advisors, and other internal and external partners
  • Support the Investment Advisors in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts
  • Support the Investment Advisors in the preparation of client reviews and presentations
  • Request information and documentation from clients in order to open accounts and keep client files up to date
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
  • Monitor all pending transfers to ensure completion on a timely basis
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) OR Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world‑class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures, an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities industry
  • Enthusiastic, committed, and entrepreneurial spirit

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.

The expected base salary range for this position is $38,000 - $50,000.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.0x base salary.
