Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Assistant Town Planner in the Metro Vancouver area to support experienced planners on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will assist with applications, site appraisals, and policy research while engaging with local authorities and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Excellent organisational and research abilities.

• Interest in progressing towards MRTPI status.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals.
• Supporting the preparation of planning statements and reports.
• Liaising with local authorities, consultants and clients.
• Monitoring planning applications and responding to planning queries.
• Assisting senior planners on a variety of development projects.
