The Role:

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager at our Limeridge location! Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada. Your main responsibilities will include delivering excellent customer service, fostering team growth, and ensuring operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team delivers excellent customer experiences through coaching and motivation while driving sales.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable about all products.
  • Train and develop a team focused on delivering outstanding experiences to our community.
  • Achieve business results and meet KPIs.
  • Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual presentation, and operational standards.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
  • Learn and share expertise on products and trends to meet customer needs.
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming products and trends.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
  • Prioritize culture, personal growth, and self-awareness in all actions.
  • Provide outstanding experiences consistently, sharing our products with the community.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:

  • Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Passion for streetwear and sneaker culture.
  • Experience in supervising, training, and coaching sales associates.
  • Confidence in engaging with customers to provide elevated experiences.
  • Motivation driven by enthusiasm for interacting with customers and athletic products.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and financial analysis skills.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing demands in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
