JD Sports Canada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our CF Masonville Place location. Join our fast-growing team as we deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive sales while ensuring store operations run smoothly.

The role requires leadership, coaching, and hands-on involvement in scheduling, inventory management, and performance feedback. You will champion our community-focused, omnichannel retail approach and foster a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about streetwear and sneaker culture.
• Experience supervising, training and coaching sales associates.
• Confident engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Motivated to achieve great results through customer interactions and product knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills including financial analysis.
• Flexible availability – nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experience through coaching and motivating the team while driving sales.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
• Train and grow a team focused on delivering outrageous experiences for our community.
• Generate business results and achieve key KPIs.
• Deliver sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations.
• Act as a partner between customers, sales associates and store leadership.
• Learn and share expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs.
