Position Summary

Our Assistant Store Managers are the heart of the Lids brand. They foster passion for sporting and fashion goods by meeting customer needs, ensuring store engagement, and managing store performance, team environment, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• People & Training: Manage staff schedules, conduct training, handle discipline, create a fun and inclusive environment, support recruiting, and ensure policy compliance.
• Customer Experience: Lead sales strategies, resolve customer issues, promote membership programs, and maintain store appearance and professionalism.
• Operations: Implement company directives, maintain safety and store technology, manage cash and inventory, and prepare for audits.
• Product & Inventory Management: Protect assets, manage inventory processes, organize backroom, and execute visual merchandising strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and minimize loss.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and software relevant to retail management.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills & Benefits

Potential earnings up to 45% above minimum wage based on experience, plus bonuses and employee discounts. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including PTO, health, dental, vision, and 401(k).
