Job summary

Journeys at CrossIron Mills in Rocky View, AB is seeking a Store Associate to support the Store Manager and Manager In Training with recruiting, training and managing store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets.

You will assist in building a strong sales team, provide coaching, enforce policies, and ensure initiatives are implemented. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for retail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
• Completion of all training programs leading up to Co-Manager position or equivalent training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and hiring high-caliber employees to meet in-store needs.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and accountability to all employees.
• Ensure company initiatives are implemented per direction.
• Supervise daily store operations in Store Manager and Manager In Training's absence.
• Manage loss prevention practices in Store Manager and Manager In Training's absence.
• Communicate store needs to Store Manager and Manager In Training.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
• Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers.
