Job Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll; act as manager-on-duty in the absence of a Store Manager, while coordinating with other departments on tune-repair needs.
- Adhere to and enforce safety procedures according to policies and standards
- Recruit, hire, train, coach and maintain a quality core tuning and maintenance centers.
- Monitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providingm recognition or correction action if necessary.
- Assist in ordering tune shop supplies and maintaining tune shop machinery.
- Assist in leading a team of up to 30 frontline staff across multiple locations.
- Participate with leadership forums providing feedback and input on store performance, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:- A minimum of 2 years of team management experience
- A minimum of 1 year prior ski and snowboard tuning experience or background
- A minimum of 1 year prior bike maintenance and tuning experience or background
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a truck on roads through adverse winter conditions, in and out of tight alleys and through very busy pedestrian areas
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Work Experience
- Direct supervisory experience
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
- Self-Motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team-building skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and manage multiple customers
- Rental store operation/management experience highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Products; Excel, Work, Outlook and Power Point
