Dollarama in Petawawa, Ontario is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and meet sales goals. The role acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring smooth operations and team leadership.

Formación

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and staff management.
• Support merchandising, stocking, and processing daily shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Handle cash management and daily opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
