Job summary

Red Apple Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the New Hazelton, BC location. The role focuses on delivering super-friendly service, maintaining a clean and customer-friendly store, merchandising, and supporting the Store Manager in leading the team.

You will open and close the store, supervise staff in the manager's absence, manage daily tasks, and drive inventory control while ensuring excellent customer experiences at the register and beyond.

Qualifications

• General experience in retail for 2-3 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book
• Order, receive and stock merchandise
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts
• Process product returns, price changes and mark downs
• Provide excellent Customer Service at the register and otherwise
• Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders
• Submit reports and Payroll to Home Office
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects
