The Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our upcoming Woodgrove Centre location in Nanaimo, BC. Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada to deliver excellent customer experiences and foster team development. You will ensure operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service through coaching and motivation while driving sales.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by possessing comprehensive product knowledge.
• Train and develop a team focused on providing exceptional experiences to the community.
• Achieve business results and key KPIs.
• Meet sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational standards.
• Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Stay informed about product knowledge and current trends to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
