Job summary

Kal Tire in Nakusp, BC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, coach the team, and drive service quality and safety. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to keep things running smoothly and develop a strong, motivated group.

You will balance hands-on work with people leadership, support hiring and onboarding, manage inventory and basic financial reporting, and contribute to achieving store targets while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Assistant Store Manager
Nakusp, BC

If you’re someone who leads by example, takes ownership of the day-to-day, and enjoys developing people, this role puts you right in the middle of the action. As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support store operations, lead the team on the floor, and help drive performance-safety, service, and results. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to keep things running smoothly, while building a strong, motivated team. Requirements

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (retail or service environment preferred)


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, support, and hold people accountable


• Comfortable balancing hands-on work with team leadership


• Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with both team and customers


• Organized and able to manage competing priorities


• Valid driver’s license


• Able to lift 30-50 lbs as part of regular duties


• Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
