Job summary

Dollarama Laval, Quebec is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, supervise staff, and drive customer satisfaction while working toward sales targets.

You will lead by example, assist with training, scheduling, and performance feedback, and step in as Manager on Duty when needed. Open availability is required for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a clear path for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)
