Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role acts as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent, coordinating with the team to meet goals and uphold standards.

In this position you will assist with operations, merchandising, and staff development, while maintaining a safe, clean environment and delivering exceptional service. The role involves training and performance feedback to foster growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
