Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will assist with staff management, merchandising, cash handling, and opening/closing duties, while maintaining safety and visual standards.

The role requires at least two years in retail and two years in a supervisory capacity, with open availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.

• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
