Why is this role important:

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will provide excellence in customer service, demonstrate leadership by managing employees, and effectively plan store operations.

What you'll do:

1. Provide efficient and courteous customer service, acting as a role model.
2. Resolve customer complaints effectively according to guidelines.
3. Lead by providing positive resolution to customer and team concerns.
4. Encourage employees to take ownership of their performance and development, with regular follow-ups.
5. Communicate with internal departments to improve business results.
6. Coordinate with buyers on inventory purchases and oversee merchandising efforts.
7. Promote sales of equipment and services through personalized advice and consultations.
8. Manage inventory and stock levels.
9. Plan and execute store events.
10. Recruit and evaluate staff to meet staffing objectives.
11. Schedule employees to optimize productivity and profitability.
12. Train staff to meet company standards.
13. Implement security and safety programs to protect assets and ensure safety.
14. Develop succession plans for staff development.
15. Ensure staff are aware of safety and emergency procedures.
16. Support store operations, policies, and procedures.
17. Promote an inclusive and belonging workplace culture.
