The Assistant Slot Operations Manager supports the daily operations of the Casino’s Slot Cage, Count Room, and Slot Floor ensuring the accurate exchange of money and ensuring compliance with all security, AGLC Terms and Conditions and AGLC AML standards. This role requires a strong understanding of cash handling procedures, cage management systems, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
High school diploma or GED required; some college or relevant certifications preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a casino as a Slot Cage Supervisor or similar financial setting.
Knowledge of Slot Casino Operations, cash handling procedures, and AGLC and AML regulations.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
Must be able to resolve controversy, maintain a fair and objective position when dealing with team members and guests.
Must be able to work in a high-risk, fast-paced environment, follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive financial data with integrity and discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other common office software.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to cover as a Slot Cage/Floor/Count Room Supervisor as required.
