Job summary

The Government of Saskatchewan's Ministry of Highways, Traffic Guidance Operations, is seeking a seasonal Equipment Operator for the Provincial Sign Crew and Pavement Marking program. You will handle pavement markings within your geographic area and assist the sign crew as needed, reporting to the Crew Lead.

Travel across the province is required, with the possibility of being away from home up to five days per week.

Job description

The Opportunity:

The Ministry of Highways, Traffic Guidance Operations, is seeking an organized and motivated seasonal Equipment Operator for the Provincial Sign Crew/Pavement Marking. The Traffic Guidance Unit is responsible for highway pavement marking and sign installation for provincial highways within the province. In this position, you will report to the Crew Lead and will be responsible for the application and quality of pavement markings within your geographic area. In addition, you will be required to provide assistance to the sign crew as required. This position requires extensive travel within your geographical location and may be required to be away from home for up to five (5) days a week.
