Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario, is hiring to help create the clean, welcoming, and safe shopping environment our customers expect.

You’ll support customers and Team Members by maintaining shared spaces, assisting with inventory, and upholding Health & Safety standards.

On-the-job training and internal promotions are available, plus a 10% discount on in-store purchases and involvement in community programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and engaging customer service that supports Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all shared and team member spaces are well maintained, including eating areas, washrooms, and locker rooms.
• Assist with inventory tracking and purchasing of store supplies as requested.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and support fellow Team Members as needed.
• Take on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support overall store operations.
