As an Assistant Security Supervisor, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a mall environment. We are looking for our next GardaWorld Ambassador to lead a great team of security professionals!

Full Time Opportunity - 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 0700-1500.

Responsibilities for Assistant Security Supervisor

1. Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to security team members.
2. Regular interior, exterior patrols and checking all doors are secured.
3. Manage difficult or irate callers. De-escalate tense situations over the phone.
4. Engagement with customers, employees, and visitors on the property.
5. Surveillance of CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
6. Performing in high-risk situations, with potentially high-risk individuals.
7. Document all incidents through report writing.
8. Liaise with clients to ensure effective communication and satisfaction.
9. Respond promptly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies.
10. Apprehend offenders and turn them over to appropriate authorities.

Qualifications for Assistant Security Supervisor

1. 2 to 4 years experience in Security Industry.
2. Valid security guard license and first aid card.
3. Available to work flexible hours.
4. Be eligible to work in Canada.
5. Advanced computer and telephonic skills.
6. Advanced operation of security system surveillance, alarms, and access control systems.
7. SSRED.
