Job Title: Assistant RV Technician
Location: Delta, BC
Compensation: $20 - $22 per hour
Employment Type: Seasonal Full Time / Part Time
Reports To: Station Manager/Supervisor or Service Manager

Position Summary

The RV Tech Assistant, working under the guidance of an RV technician, is responsible for inspecting CanaDream Guest and Sales units to ensure they comply with safety regulations and are free from noticeable defects. This role involves physical tasks and standing for extended periods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the exterior and interior of CanaDream’s units, including testing and replacing parts.
• Maintain automotive components, fluid levels, tires, LPG, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Identify and report concerns to RV Technicians or Managers.
• Prioritize safety in all tasks, following protocols and wearing PPE.
• Work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
• Complete work orders accurately.
• Winterize and de-winterize units.
• Load and unload campers from trucks.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent guest experiences.
• Maintain electronic service records.
• Embrace CanaDream’s core values.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Skills, Education, and Experience

• Propane refueling license and first aid certification are assets.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Interest or experience in mechanics/automotive, PDI experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and attention to detail.
• Experience with routine maintenance.
• Strong communication skills in English; French knowledge an asset.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to multitask.
• Demonstrate a can-do, happy-to mentality.

Working Conditions

• Seasonal, full-time or part-time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions.
• Use of safety equipment required.
• Occasional outdoor work in inclement weather.
