Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee The Pointe Restaurant, On the Rocks Bar, Driftwood Café, and Room Service. You will guide service standards and contribute to the daily operation of all food and beverage outlets along the West Coast of Vancouver Island.

You will lead a professional team, ensure guest satisfaction, and support the Restaurant Manager with hiring, training, and achieving financial goals.

Qualifications

• High-end hospitality management experience preferred.
• Sommelier ISG/WSET 2 certification is a plus.
• Valid Serving It Right Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations for Pointe Restaurant, On the Rocks Bar, Driftwood Café, Room Service, and seasonal venues.
• Assist with planning, direction, and evaluation of restaurant operations.
• Manage hiring, training, scheduling, and staff development.
