Realstar is currently seeking an Assistant Resident Manager 2-Person Team to join us at one of our properties in Burnaby. These roles come with the opportunity to live on-site, with a schedule that includes four weekdays, every other weekend, and occasional on-call evening shifts.

The Opportunity

Realstar is a leading residential property management company with over 160 properties across Canada. Our properties are clean, quiet, and attract quality residents who will attest to our unique standards of service. Assistant Resident Managers play an important role in the successful operation of a residential rental building under our management.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of the property (hallways, stairwells, amenities)
• Performing minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting
• Preparing vacant apartment suites for new residents
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents
• Assisting with leasing suites
• Responding to on-call requests

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Previous or similar property management experience (an asset)
• Professional and presentable appearance
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including garbage bins, furniture, appliances, or during snow removal duties
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
