Fitzrovia is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional resident service on-site in Toronto. You will supervise the Concierge team, manage rent collection, budgets and documentation, and coordinate moves and inspections to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires 2–5 years in real estate or hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelors, diploma, or certificate in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business or related field.
• 2–5 years in real estate or hospitality with customer focus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; responsive to residents.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $80,000.00 Annually

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key team leader responsible for delivering exceptional resident customer service while assisting in the overall management of the property. This includes overseeing daily operations, financial reporting, inventory management, event coordination, and communication with residents. Additionally, you will directly manage the Concierge team, ensuring they provide top-notch service.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000, plus a competitive performance-based annual bonus, based on skills and experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a 5-star living experience by delivering exceptional customer service to all prospects, residents, and guests
• Lead rent collection efforts, including lease termination and legal actions if required
• Manage, coach, and lead the Concierge team to ensure high service standards
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of resident documents, ledgers, and files
• Address the concerns of prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly manner
• Set an example for the team by modeling Fitzrovias service standards, training others to engage effectively with residents
• Assist in managing the property budget, making fiscal decisions to optimize the communitys net operating income
• Oversee the move-in and move-out process, including apartment inspections and community walk-throughs as needed
• Serve as the Property Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations

Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelors degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in the real estate or hospitality industry
• Superior customer service skills with a commitment to excellence
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the confidence to interact with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to learn new programs and systems; experience with Yardi software is an asset
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required
• Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, curious, responsive, and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving

As we are a highly collaborative team, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site full-time. The regular work schedule for this role will be Tuesday – Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off.
